Description: |
THIS PROJECT IS NOT LONGER AN ARRA FUNDED PROJECT. This Task Order includes the repairs of the failed and failing components of building 2762, Advanced Skills Trainee Barracks, which was constructed in 1954. The building systems scheduled for repair include roof, exterior stairs, exterior walls, force protection, windows, fire protection, interior walls, doors, insulation, interior finish, finish floors, ceilings, plumbing, HVAC, HVAC controls, electrical, electrical service and distribution. Site work includes repair of associated parking and utility systems. Hazardous materials have not been abated from the building. Asbestos and lead base paint have been identified in a hazardous materials survey and will be abated as part of the project. Swing space is required in association with this project. In order to have Building 2762 vacant for renovation, AST (Advanced Skills Training) barracks Building 75 was identified as temporary swing space lodging for the current occupants of Building 2762. Building 75 contains 221 dual-occupancy billeting rooms that require various levels of maintenance and repair before they can be occupied. Maintenance and repair funding for these 221 rooms is included in this project.
